life. Avoid too much noise. Read good books, have good sentences in
your ears. Be by yourself as often as you can. Walk. Take the phone of
the hook. Work regular hours.” —Jane Kenyon (via tattoolit)
I was informed today one of my favorite college instructors passed away. She was always so kind, and inspiring. I have missed her terribly over the years, she changed the way I look at my work. She inspired me to begin glazing, and I always can’t help but smile and think of her when I am mixing my mediums together.
I miss running into her at the museum, we always had the longest talks.
Rest in peace Blanca, you will be missed.

Love this book!
I have a ginormous birthday coming up early next year, and I have been thinking of getting a tattoo. I want something with text- a reminder to be mindful. I practice yoga and in times of stress I forget to be present. Yoga basically keeps me sane.
I know I want this tattoo on my wrist or forearm- and I want a simple font. (font ideas welcomed)
Some text ideas are breathe, inhale/exhale, love your breath…All of which I am unsure of.
Know of any mindfulness quotes?
